Take a stroll down the deepest, darkest, gloomiest part of your memory. Where the peer pressure was it’s strongest and it seemed as if you could never do anything right. Doing too much would have everyone talking about you and doing too little would have everyone talking about you. How did you handle that situation? Well I have a suggestion that will help with all of those hard situations. Become fabulous! Being fabulous takes a lot of different steps and a great deal of persistence but it’ll pay off in the long run. People still may not like you but they’ll have to respect you. As someone who has been studying the ancient art of Fabulousness, I’ve narrow down the many factors of this art to give a simple guide to become fabulous with just three easy steps; confidence, bravery, and style.

The power of relaxation. Many of us dream about slowing down and watching the sunset. Well in this Weekly Fashion I'm doing a lot more than relaxing.
This look is all about the grunge and how it comes so natural. To start off this look I when with my Calvin Klein button up and black super skinny jeans. From this point I saw that this would be a nice look if I was just lounging around a friends house. I knew it needed more but I just didn't know what it exactly needed. I tried many different looks, finally I reached for my denim coat. This coat is one of my favorite pieces because it brings an edge to any look. To finish off the look, i pared my lace up boots with the rest of the look.
Button up: Calvin Klein
Jeans: Old Navy

As many of you all know, last year at Afro Punk I was featured in Vogue. That was a life changing event for more than one reason. Being in Vogue gave me that umfth that I needed to take myself serious as a model, fashion blogger, stylist, actually anything within that fashion world that I would want to try.
So this week in Fashion Friday's I wanted to tell you about my experience and how I was able to find myself on Vogue.com, CNN, and VoicesOfNY in honor of AfroPunk later on this month.
