Hot One!: Afrojack f/ Eva Simons - Take Over Control

She has already been mistaken for Rihanna and Lady Gaga when her previous hit, "Silly Boy," went viral and now, she is back; But this time as Ms. Eva Simons. Simons is featured on a new hot track, by Afrojack, that is said to have been topping to Dance Airplay Charts for weeks now, according to Simons twitter. "Take Over Control" shares a true dance club music experience but also bends towards the pop sounding stylings of today's Mainstream hits. What hits home for me is the upbeat excitement, the head turning dance performance, and the quick cut edit that is casted through the video. All that and Simon's hair make "Take Over Control" this moments Hot One!

A Must Listen: Ciara - Ride (Rmx f/ Andre 300, Bei Maejor,Ludacris

Ciara Basic Instinct

Plain and simple Ciara should've recruited Bei Maejor for Basic Instinct because this track clearly has Goodies/Evolution Era Ciara all over it. Check it out Below. Upon the release of Ci Ci latest record, she stated that she wanted to go back to her roots. This remix clearly does just that and more. It throws away the original luke warm beat, provided by the dream, and injects an 06' inspired Ciara sound; truly capturing the essence of who Ciara really is. If I had any say on Ci Ci's latest project; I'd have B.I. reissued with Bei Maejor remixing majority of the records because this is the shit. totally better than the original...... maybe it is the original?

J.Lo Looks Good!

Jenifer Lopes
Don't be fooled by the rocks that she got because Jenny from the block is still hot. Jennifer Lopez is the latest spokesperson for newest addition in L'Oreal, EverSleek. In true L' Oreal commercial fashion, Lopez walks around flaunts her stuff, and shakes her hair while a huge industrial fans glamourizes the occasion. I am floored by how glamorous she looks in this vid however, I am aware of the retouching software used in these types of frames. With all new idol, all new album on the way, and all new L'Oreal; J.Lo plans to make a glamorous comback to the industry. Hopefully there's more "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and less 'Back-up Plan'. Check out the new revamped J.Lo below.

Will 'Born This Way' Be The Album of 2011

"I'm beautiful in my way, cause god makes no mistakes,
i'm on the right track, baby I was born this waaaaay!"
Lady Gaga, also known as Mother Monster to her fans, sang on the night she accepted VMA's Video of the Year. This pivotal moment kicked off the intense anticipation for the release of her sophomore Lp "Born This Way". Most recently, Ms. Gaga previewed a 'Born This Way' track at the Thierry Mugler Menswear show in Paris. Check out the clip below which was tweeted by a member of Gaga's team.
Since the summer of twenty-ten Gaga has been spilling information on the new record. While on the Monster Ball tour, Gaga has released statements saying that the next record was almost completed. Members on Gaga's team have been saying that the record was going to be huge. Producer Red One, "Just Dance", recently spoke about the album saying its going to be "Shocking" and that its "Too precious to speak of." Mentor Akon stated that the album is "Slowly taking you on a journey" also calling it "Crazy" and "Amazing". Even the creator herself is calling the album "The Album of the Decade"
But with all this talk and no pop music, is one to believe that all that jazz is true? What should we expect?

Gaga first came on the scene back in 2008. She was just another artist on Akon's label along with Colby Who Donis and some other girl. She introduced us to nothing more than a party scene that was pretty gaga intense. it wasn't until 2009 when things picked up for the starlet. From Bloody VMA performances to face obscuring masks and pyrotechnics, people really began to grab hold of this train and quickly. Gaga's Debut The Fame sold millions of copies making it the first album I've heard go diamond. She won numerous awards, crowned woman of the year twice by leading music station, MTV, and broke internet records on facebook and Youtube. She has become a pop cultural Icon. Everyone is extremely interested in what she wears and what she is going to do next. And by doing next I mean the next album. As much as people love the "rah rah ga ga oh la la " stuff, it's getting old. Mostly because everybody and Kim Zolciak is trying to do it now. So most listeners are expecting Gaga to deliver a new sound. By the end of last year Gaga described the sound as " a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock and roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats" That sounds good to me and for most of the people behind the record but, what will and fans think? Will it be too much or not enough?

So for most part I don't think it would really matter if Born This Way sucked. With the numerous awards under her belt, and the loyal little monsters as well as the record breaking "The Fame" success, it is clear that Gaga is bigger than her Radio Gaga. And If Born this way is not the Album of 2011, Aleast she can say that The Fame was the album of 2010.

Heart Beats on A Dance Floor

The drowning sounds of broken melodies repeat my heart like a broken record
Rhythmless oceans, clouds of grey, and the sky sings the blues
Here I go again
Dancing in the eyes of an invisible lover, who has my heart beating faster than ever
Who has the rhythm, amplifies that tempo, and makes me feel the bass
Who remixes my song so that certain percussions transpire and erase
Here I go again
Im in love
My mind doesn’t speak of it, but my heart beats of it
Boom boom kack boom boom kat love me back love me back
That invisible lover remixed by song
I’ll let em spin and I’ll hold out until the melody is gone

New Year, Same Rant

the begining of 2011 may be a time of change for some, but for most it is a say and forget to do. Old habits, bad habits, and new habits is what makes us who we are. They play as a focal point of the human personality and set of a unique progression upon the mind. the more annoyed we are with our habits, the more we set out to delete them. Truth is, habits can be deleted among a new year. It is a gradual lingering process that needs immediate attention. A bad habit can only be deleted if a new habit emerges in place of it. with that being said, I will no longer force myself to listen to the half ass sound of today's music. I'd rather take the more complete original, in which most artist rip off, approach with sounds of the 80's and 90's. Throughout 2011, which is my twenty, this blog will be infiltrated with the best of the beat and pop culture of the 80s/90s. One couldn't learn from the best and not share. Half of last decade didn't really do it for me. so i believe it is time to create a new one and make old habits fresh and new.

so all hearts beat in love,
